He just won the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee) straw poll. I wouldn't mind him being the GOP nominee, myself.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the winners of these polls have gone on to win the nominations for the GOP (Bush, McCain)... EDIT: No, not McCain.
