He just won the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee) straw poll. I wouldn't mind him being the GOP nominee, myself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the winners of these polls have gone on to win the nominations for the GOP (Bush, McCain)... EDIT: No, not McCain.

apparently so

although paul has some nutty policy beliefs, at least he respects the constitution and is anti-imperialistic. he's definitely and obviously a vast improvement over batshit palin.
