i had never heard of the place until i saw one of these lists come out a few years back. seems as if they have been a staple for a little while now.


can't blame a place for being miserable though. i mean, if the asparagus festival is the highlight of your wikipedia page, you probably could use some help

Pavement (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavement_(band))came from there and that’s all that really matters...but I imagine it’s part of the reason songs like Forklift and Conduit for Sale came into being...

this is also a year old.
i live in Detroit now; we're saved to no. 7 by the low sales tax and good sports teams which are quickly going downhill this year and the sales tax which is going to be changed soon.
