I like that the President is getting in front of the public and other elected officials and talking it out. Officials who are confident can handle talking on the spot versus rose garden press conferences with softball questions once a year.

I'm happy I voted the guy into office, I'm really not too sure if the Republicans think doing nothing and saying "no" to everything but the lamest of ideas is going to put them in any spotlight of favor.

We have an opportunity to each as American citizens to help millions of uninsured citizens and while doing so be able to boost the quality of insurance for those already insured, all of us receiving the same health benefits as the elected officials who want to help us and even the ones who don't want to help us.

Let's do it. There are currently more who want to help us and that is the focus President Obama should begin on now.

I'm all for openess and transparancy.
I think every bill should be negotiated in the media.
The people get to see the politicians lie right to their fucking faces and the politicians get free pub.
