I've been in the process of setting up my new studio and I tested the sound out with the Too Many Rappers vinyl (that weighs a brick) and the instrumental is mad nice. Lots of sounds going on there.

I dunno. Just thought I'd share on my enlightenment.

Cheers.

Yeah, hah, the vinyl does weigh alot compared to older vinyls, it might be 180 gram. And about the instrumental, there is alot going on, starting with the effected drums, the "honky rink" kinda sound. People like to piss on this song though. And while it isn't anything like some of their older poo, which was absolutely amazing, it's not like it's absolutely terrible.

But yeah, I do like the instrumental, a lot.(y)

Yeah, you can hear the "live" instruments in this. It sounds a lot more layered than TT5B. Definitely back to their past sound and mixing.

You should fuck around with the arrangement on it so that all the different musical parts start on different verses, then it would sound even more like their older stuff. If you want. The bassline and arrangement from the break up until the siren part particularly; I think it's ready to step up to the verses.

I was blending the accapella with the instrumental of The Cool Kids '88.

It sounded kinda fresh.

That could be cool. I think blended with itself, albeit with the beat chopped up in new ways, it could be really nice. I'd do it, but you're the one with the home studio. (y)
