i heard title track on radio 1 the other day, i dont know too much about them really but it was ok but it sounded like a birrova kasabian rip off imo

I noticed the resemblence to Kasabian on that track myself, but they don't sound anything like them otherwise - they mainly do folk and psychedelic rock.

Listen to their debut album and give them a shot ;)

There's some brilliant tracks on it (love Concience Killer), but some are a bit of a dissappointment, mainly the older ones. I never liked Evol...
The official release date is on Tuesday, but it leaked a couple of weeks ago.

I've got tickets to all their Swedish shows, can't follow the UK tour this time because of work, but might try to go to Amsterdam or Copenhagen as they're on my days off.

btw it was Kasabian who tried to be the new BRMC, BRMC have been around for much longer and Kasabian have even supported them a few times.

I really like it. There's nothing as instantly hummable as on previous albums, but most of the songs have wormed their way into the centre of my brain.

I think Half-State is up there with their best tracks. Sounds a lot like The Verve's early stuff and has that fantastic rocking out section that I can't stop banging my head to (y)

Interestingly, I think Conscience Killer is probably the song that appeals to me least. It seems quite jarring so early on. Probably would've worked better more towards the middle.
