Beastie Boys 'Banned in the UK' (2005)

I've been going through my old VHS tapes and came across this little gem, recorded from British tv in 2005. 'Banned in the UK' was a documentary series that aired on Channel 4 during 2004-05 which looked back at various cultural and social events and the hysteria and censorship they caused in England. This segment looks at the media scaremongering of the Beastie Boys during their controversial 1987 tour of England.

England really was a stuffy old place regarding censorship in the 1980s.

I've got some more VHS Beastie goodies to upload, but nothing that you probably all haven't seen before.
