is weird.

it's happened twice in the last few days. I think some engaged friends of mine broke up (I guess?), because the lady sent a mass email about a moving sale saying "moving to a smaller place", and someone wrote an apartment ad on the dude's facebook.

and another friend of mine's (ex?) girlfriend wrote some shade ball stuff on his wall apologizing for missing calls and that they should get together sometime in a few weeks?

:(

wha?

:(

And when the whole thing is played out in a big post exchange is sometimes a little too much car crash viewing.

But I have kinda done it, you lose all sense decency sometimes.

If I can find out that 200,000 people died in an earthquake via internet, I don't think I really mind finding out two people who didn't die fell out of what they thought was love via the same shit. It's not that I don't care, it just wouldn't really bum me out like that.

well, I'm not so much bummed out, just kinda in shock. the engaged couple had been together for like 5 years. the other two, about 3 years.

I guess I'm still getting adjusted to personal drama being played out so casually online for all to see. Like, with a first and last name attached, not a screenname.

So wait.....Dorothy Wood isn't your real name?

I actually do know what you're saying. But I've kinda gotten accustomed to not finding anything out by any other means. A friend of mine recently got engaged, and I found out via group email. I also found out a good friend of mine died via facebook. Another friend who moved away awhile back put up pictures on his profile of his newborn son....and I didn't even remember that his wife was pregnant. So it's got it's good and bad points, I suppose.

i lost count to how many people i've found out have gotten engaged via facebook.

i refuse to acknowledge those types of things until i am told directly by said person. sorry, i don't care to congratulate you if you don't care to inform me.
