Here's (http://videos.onsmash.com/v/WPdNLIT86pIZT6jK) your chance to. Truly an exhilarating experience.

I've been baptized in the river of Lady Gaga and my life will never be the same again.

Well, there's no obscure and clever references to films by hit-or-miss directors, or gratuitous shemale thong shots, but sure.

What are the film references? I've heard talk but I didn't recognize anything.

I think it's great, I'm not sure Beyonce really works in GaGa's world, she seems like an imposter.

Also, product placement up the wazoo. It distracted me.

The last dance sequence in the diner = killer

Well, according to Gaga:

"There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video," she says. "I mostly love the way he uses different forms to create something new. His direct involvement in the video came from him lending me the Pussy Wagon . We were having lunch one day in Los Angeles and I was telling him about my concept for the video and he loved it so much he said, 'You gotta use the Pussy Wagon.'"

But, apart from Kill Bill, there's a little Caged Heat, Thelma & Louise, and of course the obvious references to The Notebook mixed in, as well.

did she have a phone on her head?

I still haven't seen it! I keep trying but it's hard to watch a video that long while at work.

I need to take a lunch and sit at a different computer.

I like the song a lot more than I liked Beyonce's counterpart Videophone. But I think I like the Videophone video more. B's delivery of the lines isn't great but perhaps that's because they're so stilted.

Yeah, I'd say Beyonce seems a little out of her element in this video but I think it still works. She's so electrifying she could make anything work.

I like Gaga and B together.

I wonder what she/he did to get into jail in the first place. They really don't go into that and I think it makes the rest of the video unbelievable.

I know. At first I thought maybe they were splicing in actual footage, thinking wow, LG is really in prison. But after 5 minutes I was like, oh this is just fake now.

oh, it was fake? I totally missed that.

I wasn't a huge fan of this video. The song's not my favorite of hers. I love GaGa, but, eh. She and Beyonce have both done better. I do like them as a duo, though.

when you're reduced to wearing a telephone on your head for people to be interested in you then you're not interesting.

i wanted to like it, did. its just meant to be a girls fantasy. it tries so hard at that, its ridiculous even by those standards - mixing glamour with grit, etc etc ~ video: 4/10, im being nice

production: 8/10 ~ t&a: 6/10 ~ art direction: 9/10 ~ effort/ambition: 10/10 ~ execution: 4/10

that look she gives after "once you kill a cow you gotta make a burger" is so terribly bad. its histerical actually (paging mr. herman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qazaaq0msA))". unless im missing something, someone shoulda gotten canned for that, lolol

totally.

I...uh, I'm glad that oddness is being celebrated by Lady GaGa, and I think it kinda awesome that she's putting it into the mainstream...but...it's just too much with this video. there's no clarity, it's just a bunch of stuff all smashed together. and the song's not that good.

Yeah the lyrics are terrible, the whole premise of the song is bleh.

but it is in my head all the time anyway.

Totally, I realized after I heard it twice that I had most of the lyrics down.

stop calling stop calling I don't wanna talk anymore, I left my head and my heart on the dance floor.

I still like it, tho.

I love the Videophone video.

definitely not my favorite song by her but I liked the diner part, the cigarette sunglasses, the women in prison homage, and Beyonce's robot movement/editing.

I just love that Gaga is over the top no matter what, even if it doesn't work perfectly in the end.

Russel Crowe beating Gaga in the face with the phone would have made the video a little more entertaining.
