There was that interview with Yauch where he said that they were considering polishing up the album a bit before they release it. Maybe TMR will be one of the tracks to get a spit and shine.

I think if the video was released now it'd be a bit lonely all by itself.

Regardless of any copies that have been pressed they are obviously in a position where they can change a few things if they want to. CJ makes it sound like they've all been pressed and finalised - if that was the case why would they even contemplate changing anything.

Anyway, any changes made to an album that I haven't heard makes absolutely no difference to me. How the fuck can you suggest they add some magic to it at this stage?

my friend at capitol records tells me this isn't the case, or i'd have tracked down the location of this warehouse and secured a copy by now.

I did that shit on Sunday playing a long session of online poker. It's like one big, fucking great album. You get cool transitions between different songs and it doesn't miss a beat.

Also...even if the bboys are "done" there is no way this album goes unreleased. They still need and most likely enjoy money.

time to find some other genres/bands you have not had the pleasure of listening to. face it, the days of putting out historical albums from the beasties are over. tell me, would you rather listen to the rolling stones's first two albums or the last two? I am not a hater or a pessimist, just someone who loves music that has learned that everything ends people! especially in music....look back to all of your favorite albums and what happened after....there is no way around it.....the songs that have been leaked are sub-par if that, and TTFB was terrible (compared to what the beasties have given us in the past). i know people may reply that i am not a "true" beastie head but i will put my knowledge of them against anyone. i am just trying to not go insane in thinking that the beasties are "re-born"....time changes everything

I understand your point but i don't think too many rappers and lee majors come again are sub-par and beastie boys albums are always real growers hence still loving them after all these years.what would I rather listen to sub -par beastie boys or lil wayne,eminem,snoop dogg?
