I sent some query letters and email last week and 2 people requested the script on Friday. One of the people already wants to option it, but only for $1.

She said she is well connected and she has produced at least one big movie, but none recently.

It seems like I should get an agent or something.

Echewta do you have any recommendations for an agent or anything?

What's it about?

Cyborg lesbian Bill Cosby lookalikes hell-bent on taking over the world?

just being about Bill Cosby will suffice.

The definitive post 90's film set in the early 90's, DUBIOUS is an
irony laced underdog caper comedy set in Chicago in the summer of
1994.

“DUBIOUS” A well known lucrative 1994 lawsuit inspires Chris, a financially troubled man to concoct a dubious scheme where he is attacked by an employee of a large electronics retailer. Chris and his accomplices quickly learn the devil is in the details when eccentric corporate attorney Don Duro gives them a run for their money.

1994…a year so unremarkable you can't forget it.

I don't want to post the rest of the synopsis because it gives away too many details.

It's Raising Arizona meets a 90's Dazed and Confused.

I think Cliff should have father and son chat with Theo. It'll be touching.....followed by horrific violence!

I think you're supposed to register a screenplay with the writers guild or someone like that.
Otherwise anyone you submit your shit to can make it themselves without acknowledging you.
Carlos Mencia is famous for this.

Rob said what I was just about to say. Yeah, register it with the Writers Guild first. It's not expensive. Getting representation is nice but agents are probably going to want to see some previous credits to your name if you got some.

Nygel is a good director name. Where is your resume?

I like Jody Hill. (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2095817/)

I signed the option Friday, hopefully I don't get screwed. I'll keep the board posted. I'm sure it's the kind of movie many of you would enjoy.
