I kind of think some of it stemmed from potheads making things (while stoned) to sell to other potheads to show their approval of being stoned. The culture associated with it is juvenile.

When I did use copious amounts of weed on a daily basis I prided myself on maintaining through class, work, social situations.

The word "Maintain" was constantly reverberating around in my head along with a buzz so strong perception of all matter and movement was altered beyond anything resembling normalcy. Good times until I went into my alcoholic run that destroyed my life.

fucking right. I have a coworker who talks about nothing other than his body and going to the gym. If you walk into him talking to somebody, he'll be telling them about his exercise and his improvements. Yeah, it's great that he's staying in shape and healthy but damn, as much as he talks about it, it's definitely being self obsessed.

As far as pot talk and shit, even when I did smoke it I would't talk about it. I'd just do it and pretty much the same with my friends.

having been one of those people whose 20's went up in smoke etc. I would never think that makes be better or more equipped. i'm pretty ashamed that i let shit pass me by cos i was twatted a lot. tbh i think anyone who says they have done too much and are braggin about it or thinking they are more experienced probably didnt do that much in the first place
