been thinking about it again - there was a half plan to do it with a newly acquired friend this August but I don't think that is happening. I could go alone again...

...I have no plan apart from existing as long as I can which seems a pretty lame plan. I'm lost or something. Will I find myself in America? Probably not but I didn't do 25% of the things I wanted to do last time...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmms

Sorry for the nothing post but I am sat here with the browser open thinking.

I'm sure you could do a BBMB couch trip. If you make your way out West look me up.

forgot I made this thread. At the time I was thinking getting amtrak around the place - you can get some tourist type tickets, I should land in chicago as it seems to be a hub to go any direction...

Oh thats right, I was watching Into The Wild - good film.

Funds aren't quite practical right now though, I'm moving home again sometime this month and I have a bit to pay out.

And yes, I failed meeting anyone last time but I'll properly organise myself next time. I owe Fern a pint at least.

In America, our grandparents give us shopping carts when we walk into grocery stores.

Shopping carts are called shopping trolleys in the UK.

In America, trolleys are in San Francisco and deliver flavored rice in boxes.

In Britain the trunk of a car is called the boot, in America the boot is what the forefathers gave to the Brits…

In the UK the hood is called the bonnet and manual gear boxes are the norm. And cup holders are smaller because the cars are smaller.

If it wasn't for the brits in america years ago they'd all be speaking french now.
