Post links to things you've been listening to recently that you think others might get a kick out of. New or old; well known or not; any genre; it doesn't matter. I'd love to hear something I haven't heard before :>

I'll start us off.

The Black Ryder - Let It Go (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n17aLyJvyzE#t=0m12s)

Yeah I can benefit from this thread heaps. Been needing some recommendating.

I got this Cd in the mid late 90s by this group called New Kingdom. It was some of the weirdest shit I'd heard. I recently dug the disc out again, as it's one of the few I'd never lost.

I'm sure somebody here has heard Paradise Don't Come Cheap (it came out on Gee Street in 96); very odd. Kind of cult following stuff, except it has no following. Ahead of its time, anyway.

Mexico Or Bust (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c09EeU2V0jE)

Good Times (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv8BM6-DM4c)

Unicorns Were Horses (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHcBDHrE45I&feature=related)

There are other videos on those pages which will be easy enough to find, I reckon.

me too. The beat reminds me of a throwback mixed between mid 90s hip hop and Afrika Bambaataa or something.

+voicebox Zapp & Roger style.

Fantastic new summery song from Caribou

Caribou - Odessa (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq_tDOFU5tY)

annnndddd...

One of my favourites from his back catalogue, slightly sped up and put to a great piece of animation by James Jarvis (give it time - the music kicks in at just past the minute mark).

Yeah....just what i was thinking!! Pah.;)

Just listening to the new nasa album....not sure if i'd recommend it or not yet though. Nowhere near as good and the last one but then that was stuffed full of awesome collabarations. This is more just kind of dancey. bit dull actually!!

no idea what the original is like, but the Sia - Clap Your Hands (Diplo Remix) (http://rcrdlbl.com/2010/05/03/download_sia_clap_your_hands_diplo_remix_) is pretty nice.

Maybe not to be enjoyed by the ilk on this board but I'm swiftly falling in love with Alison Mosshart. See The Kills and The Dead Weather.

The new Smashing Pumpkins stuff is pretty great. Really reminds me of the ol' Mellon Collie gems. Check out the first track here.... "A Song For A Son"
