i have oily skin, i have since turning 12. and i had a million pimples through most of my teenage years. nothing big, no scars, just... pimples. at some point after 17 or so, due diligence with the facewash made the pimples go away, although the oily skin never did. i get the occasional one or two a month, but that's about it. blackheads are my issue, and i can control those.
but this sudden pizza face moment is killing me! the little bright red fucker HURTS. and i left my concealer at home when i ran out in the morning.

I had super clear skin all of my life. It's still pretty darn clear, but I am getting 2 small pimples here and there every other month or so. I know that's not as big of a deal but the I never used to at all shows that despite getting older, it doesn't always mean no acne period.
On a side note, I broke out in a small rash directly below my belly button. Turns out my skin now gets irritated by the metal on the back of my jeans button. That rash is in fact in the same spot where the button rests and no where else! Never happened before. Asshole sensitive skin.
I have no advice. My skin doesn't seem to suffer acne all that much.
You had a change of cleaning routine? Change of weather? Change of Climate? Change of job? Or THE CHANGE???
The last one I jest but no-one else will see it like you do, try to stop worrying they exist and they'll cease to be (y)
edit: oooh 3k post that.

i have psoriasis. it only happened in my 30's. i have to stick a load of cream on my face to sort it but its still not enough to stop it flaking a lot and that brings spots with it as well , worst bit is right around the edge of my nose. hurts like fuck.
i should count my blessings that my skin complaint is the flaky kind. i get a lot of red patches on my face that flakes but if i was unlucky it could look like this (http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/hardin/md/pictures22/dermnet/psoriasis_03f.jpg) and may still do in time. its hereditary. my point is that since i had it, i get a fuckload of spots as well. sorry for the skin complaint rant
