I've been living the bachelor life now for exactly a year after shedding 7 1/2 stones of psycho.

Didn't it go fast?

7.5 stones doesn't sound like a lot?

Now you can share at least, which is good. Did she take it in the arse?

I think I said it in your thread from back then, but I'll say it again: as much as it sucks to hear (when in the moment), it really does just take time. :)

Good for you, camo (y)

Cheers guys. The weird think is that I never remember dates but for some reason I've always remembered this one.

I'm glad she went - I made loads of new mates where I live, been with some excellent girls and enjoyed finding out who I am again.

The year went fast but I've fitted quite a lot into it.

The next move is to find someone special (y)

just carry on doing what you are doing now mate you seem happy enough, dont consider it a "move" to find someone special, things dont work like that, it'll just happen before you realise whats going on. if that makes sense. sorry i'll stop being old and patronising now

It's good to hear you sounding so upbeat, and that you've gone from being so down to having had a load of good times. Also, you must be feeling good to be thinking on about a new relationship. (y)

Yeah I am - I've been in this weird state of mind where none of the girls I've dated were 'good enough' but I'm slowly coming round to not being quite so reserved and picky.

I have my sights set on someone.

Good for you....but absolutely be picky. Don't fall in love with potential (i can't remember what song that's from!)

There's surely no rush, sounds like you been getting plenty of laydeez!! And a bad relationship is more lonely than singledom with plenty of friends and shags!!;)
