Go Sharks :-(
I'm afraid my team may be in Shark territory. Playoff choke artists.

^If only your team could figure out how they managed to score on that one power play and then somehow replicate that, they might have a chance still.

And I predict the Wings wrap it up in 5....possibly 4.

Dammit Rock, keep the faith. We've got one game left. (y)
Plus, we have to win this one because I don't think I could deal with more overly-cocky Canadians after what happened at the Olympics.

Montreal is hardly part of Canada Canada.
1 goal out of 37 power plays!?!? What the fuck is that about? If they don't come out of the gates ruthless, then we don't stand a chance. Overtime...forget it...season over.
If we just break Halak's confidence by a couple of quick goals one after the other than its ours for the taking. But he be straight fiyaaaaa last game.

I think the Sharks will make it past Detriot.
Go Habs!

I had the pleasure of being at Game 6 with the Kings and Canucks. Even though my team was eliminated, it was still awesome to be at. I highly recommend everyone go to at least one playoff game if you dig hockey.
If the Habs win, upset of this years cup.

Just couldn't make use of that 6 on 4 advantage in the third, I guess. But on the bright side, there's little chance that the Habs will make it past Pittsburgh.

To be honest - and I don't mean any offense - I really found it hard to watch when the Kings had home ice, because the LA crowd seemed to cheer about every single thing. Like anytime the Kings had possession, or even if a weak shot was attempted from the center line, it didn't matter. The crowd would all ooooooh even if the puck was shot 4 feet wide of the net.
But in retrospect, it'd be nice if the Vancouver crowd could be as involved.
Good game, though.

Thats what they said about the Habs against the powerhouse that was Washington.
No offense taken but I understand that the fans in L.A. have been patiently waiting for years for the "rebuild" to get to this point. It was the do or die game.
Before the game, I saw Luongo walking solo from the hotel across the street. I was considering if a few days in jail because I gave him a wicked charlie horse in the leg was worth the Kings going to game 7. My spotless record was more important.

I don't know if you'd have actually gotten away with running up to him and kneeing him in the leg, especially since he's been conditioned to tolerate that level of pain. I'm pretty sure that one good bump from your Miata would have done the trick, though.

LA has no shot at winning the Stanley Cup this year.

Thank you. Neither do the Yankees.

Got a little scary for the Sharks there in the 3rd, but yeah. Good show.

Sounds like they could've pretty easily lost a terrific early lead and nearly did. Glad they got the first win, and I bet game two is going to be either a riot or a rout.

I'm a fan of both teams, but I would love to see my Sharks break the playoff curse and go to the cup. Go Sharks! But the Wings aren't going to take it lying down. eeep!

Hopefully the Sharks will get ugly. Not too likely, but they need to stand up.
