I can hear you when you say that you're disappointed, but you're implying that Yauch and the boys are intentionally trying to fool us, whereas they're obviously as lost as anyone here in terms of what to do in the near future. Does that mean that they should quit? I don't agree. Does that mean that HSC will not come out? Def not.

Anyway, careful man. Everybody has to deal with health issues, and there is no good way or bad way to deal with it. One needs to respect others' choice. And in my opinion, Yauch does not owe us anything. Even if you've listened to him for 25 years, bought all his records, etc...

I don't think this is anything new. The Beastie Boys always take their time putting records out. Honestly, I don't think meditation could kill cancer cells, but MCA is a buddhist, right? Isn't meditation a big part of his religion and lifestyle? Nothing wrong with meditating and thinking about things.

look, i sort of understand what you were saying but come on, just because lance armstrong overcame cancer and carried on doing something very tough doesnt mean that MCA has to get back on the bus. Illness affects people differently.

If MCA has had a brush with serious illness and wants to take a year out, or more, to spend time with his family or meditating to get his head right then thats up to him.

He has had time to revaluate his priorities in life and if his group has gone down the pecking order then you have to deal with it. he doesnt owe you shit, he is not your bitch just because you bought all his albums and invested time in him and his group. he has invested more time and money and energy in creating all the preevious works. If it does all come to an end then thats something everyone has to deal with, but whilst they contemplate what to do , we just have to be patient and not be insensitive.

I just think you showed a massive lack of respect for people with your post.

besides meditating which is always good, b14 or b17 and plenty of urb helps to cure cancer i hear.
but i'm sure adam has all the professional help he needs!
i found this out when my sister died of kidney cancer a few years ago.
it was definitely not her time. i don't know if she ate b14 or smoked weed - actually, she was taking thc pills, but then i think they took her off of them.
i think she got worse after that.

now, who has a fucking sighting?

Why does it matter if he meditates? It's not the only thing he is doing for his treatment. He might be Buddhist but he is no idiot. He's gotten radiation and all of the usual treatments that are necessary for healing and recovery so if he wants to mediate too then no big deal.

Anyway so we had to wait a year later for the album. It's not like the band said they are on hiatus. Adam himself said he was disappointed to have to hold off so I am sure it frustrated him too but man too many people are dying of cancer these days so I would rather wait it out if I know he will be healthy and happy once the band does return. After listening to the new music isn't the wait worth it???? It's happening this year. I am personally excited and it gives me time to save up money to travel and see them perform!!

The sightings were just several that day on twitter that seen him out and about and I asked a couple of them how he looked and the responses that he looked really good and seemed in good health. :p

What is wrong with you? We're not all just a bunch of ignorant douchebags. You are acting as if Adam Yauch owes you his time. Believe what you want, but no one here thinks that they are conspiring against us and no one wants to hear you repeat the same shit. I don't think the mods deleted your account to silence you. Adam's health is more important than a fucking tour. I'm sure he doesn't want to pass out on stage or something. Even if for some reason they decided not to tour, why would they cancel the release of both albums? There would be no purpose in that at all.
