Hey guys just curious who here is second and third generation fans? I was curious because I checked my you-tube and this 14 year old girl replied to a comment I made on the BB's. She was going completely gaga over them. Thought it was the coolest thing. I think it's pretty amazing that the boys can still have such a major influence on so many legions of young fans!

I think with this new album coming out that the BB's are gonna take the spotlight away from new fans of groups like New Kids on the Block. You know the music scene is so dead right now and young folks need a really good musical influence because they are stuck with the same old cookie cut pop stars. Not just that but we need some real good FUN, and real good hip-hop. I just can't wait for September. :p

you raise a good point. hip-hop now is alot of things, but I'd be hard-pressed to say it's "fun". there're glimmers here and there, but it seems like the general trend is that everybody's just taking themselves way too seriously, both commercially and underground.

Yeah I don't really like the new rap of today. I mean some songs are good and I can get into a few of the artists but I find myself buying less albums and not just because of the whole download age.. If I love the band or artist I want the CD. See BB's don't have to worry because people will actually want to buy their album and not just download a few songs. That's amazing to me.

I've been into rap since 1986 and the only hip hop artists I still buy today are beastie boys, cypress hill,kano,q-tip and plan b.It's not co's I 've gone off rap,I still listen to all my old shit daily.its because nobody new blows me away and i've been waiting for a long time now for something fresh.artists have to sell too many records these days to keep their record deal and thats means water everything down, which means shit throwaway records.my mum used HATE rap records back in the day and now at 62 she buys 50 cent and timbaland.

Well that's probably because 50 cent and timbaland are pop.
