man this is funky and trippy. great rhythm. bonham inspired drumming. go get this. i hate the white stripes but when jack white is working with other people it usually turns out great.(y)

sour note... another album sonically ruined by the loudness war. during loud parts you can't even distinguish between the instruments. it just becomes some mushed up highly distorted rhythmic mess.

I was never a fan of the White Stripes...then I watched the doc "It Might Get Loud" and saw how bluesy Jack White is. Bought the Raconteurs albums and love 'em. I'm REALLY digging this tune. Think I may have to check out the Dead Weather now.

So I've been listening to this album the last few days.

I agree Turd, its fucking LOUD. Easily the loudest album I have.

Having said that the mix is not bad, its sounds ok as long as you wind down the volume a bit.

Its a meh album. Not bad, but definitely not one I actually sit down in front of my system to listen to.

Dead Weather is my second favorite band. Saw them live last year (and The Kills) and Allison Mosshart is a beast.

I love anything Jack White does but for some reason him teamed with VV gets me going.
Gonna see them again in July (y)

I just got home from the Dead Weather show at the House of Blues here in Boston. HOLY CHRIST! So fucking good. I'm already wanting to see them again. Alison was fucking awesome. Jack White=LEGEND!
