I think the media should get all up in their collective ass and endlessly play it up in the media. Just like Tipper did (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parents_Music_Resource_Center) when she got all up in the collective rock and roll ass to censor the usage of lyrics that offended her sensibilities.
