As tragic of a case this is, it is not unusual for drunk drivers (from any country) to maim or kill innocent drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. This poor woman could have easily been a victim of an White American Mother of two (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,536742,00.html) driving the wrong way on the highway.

removing illegal aliens will not put an end to drunk driving murders, nor put a dent in the statistics - I guarantee more drunk driving deaths are the result of citizens not illegals.

COP walks from DUI case involving the death of two young men

John Ardelean, a police officer who was seen drinking extensively just before killing two men in a car crash, walked free from the Criminal Courts building today. All charges against him had been dropped.

The prosecution was forced to drop charges after a ruling in late April by Judge Thomas Gainer, Jr. who threw out blood-alcohol evidence against Ardelean, saying it was obtained illegally.

Family members expressed outrage at the ruling.

Prosecutors also suggested in pretrial hearings that police the night of the crash turned a blind eye to Ardelean's intoxication. Among other things, he wasn't arrested or given a Breathalyzer until seven hours after the crash.

We had a sherrif here who killed two bicyclists on a tight curve. She reeked of alcohol* and was "taken care of" by the attending officers
so there was no sobriety test, etc. The whole thing turned pretty ugly.





*According to the medical workers on the scene, one of whom even said the lady admitted to being very drunk.
