The other day I was within 100 feet of a lightning bolt splitting a tree in down the middle. Other than that nothing terribly exciting. Although I suppose Aurora Borealis is considered natural phenomena, I have many memories of the dancing skies as a child in summer time.

Tornados as a kid. One time we wound up with a cow in the front yard. Nearest farm was quite far.

I honstly don't remember how my parents dealt with it. We did keep a photo of it in the family srapbook, though.

A little earthquake when I was in Tokyo. I was excited and a little scared but the people I was staying with barely registered it.

That made me remember: An earthquake that rocked the little cottage I lived in. It literally felt like I was rolling on the sea. It was great.

Climate Change.

Oh wait, thats not natural.

There once an earth quake other year here in Sheffield apparently - the UK! I slept through it. But everyone says it happened but there was no damage or evidence.

Does animal phenomenon count?

Very close lightening strike while coming trying to outrun a spring storm, down from the top of a scramble,by myself...I felt it in my fillings and my ears rang for an hour...

60 foot swells in a fish boat in Juan de Fuca strait…

“Bumped” by a killer whale while running a 12 ft skiff between 2 seiners over a set of salmon…

Black bears followed/stalked us for 3 days in Athabasca before stealing our food on the fourth night…

I saw ball lightening once, thunder snow, destructive hail…

Aurora borealis…

Partial and total eclipses…

Big meteor burn up in the daytime…

The Leonids are always awesome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonids

Really loud thunder and bright lightning is pretty unnerving at times.

driving in mississippi we were going down the highway looking for a place to stop and get food during a storm. all i remember is looking at a set of billboards all lit up. a big crack of lightning and everything was dark for miles.
