they had promise. They had the right presence and the door was open for another white hip hop gooftroop ala the beastie boys. Fun Lovin' Criminals fit in there as well. They both had hot tracks early that made you think....hey maybe hip hop is permeated far enough into the suburbs that these kids get it and can keep it up with the scene. Then they just sold out to the lowest common denominator.

Jimmy pop is one of the top songwriters of the last 15 years...don't believe me? research it and you will see he is a genius. Only Violent J from ICP comes close to him.
