This is pretty lame whining, but anyway...
It just drives me nuts when people are so oblivious to the fact that there are other people in the world besides them.
For instance: Someone passes through a doorway and then just stops. Um... excuse me?
People who leave their carts or strollers in the middle so they block the aisle. Um, one side, please. Thanks.
People who haven't made up their mind by the time they get to the register and hold up the line while they discuss.
People on cell phones talking too loudly -- that's a pretty obvious one.
Couples having a let-the-whole-world-hear fight in public.
Drivers who have the red light put pull up into the crosswalk watching traffic in only one direction and not looking for pedestrians in the other.
Teenagers -- who in some ways are the most self-conscious people on the planet -- are AMAZINGLY unobservant, especially if they have the slightest distraction whatsoever. Just yesterday I had a girl hustle to get around me only to do a series of slowdowns, starts and stops which made us look like we were doing some jerk-step duet. WHY hurry around me if you aren't going to just keep moving?

I always hate it when people walk super close behind me, when they could easily just walk around. Like, so close that if I stopped short, they'd smack right into me. A lot of the time they're listening to ipods or on their cell phones and not paying a damn bit of attention, but it's really goddamn creepy to have someone that close behind you

People who don't just walk a straight line down the sidewalk, so even if you're trying to get around them, they lurch one way or another to block you.
I have no real problem saying "excuse me" to get past somebody, but in some weird way it starts making me feel like I'm being rude.

the worst when its in the park because there are so many nice and quiet trails to use!

I can't stand that either. I'm not trying to justify smoking at all but once I was having a cig and I could feel this lady breathing on my neck. I blew a puff out and she's all, "blegh, Jesus Christ!" Well, if she wouldn't walk up on people then she wouldn't have that problem. I don't drag ass when I walk either.

I mean could you not forsee that you were going to need money?!?! Get your cash ready before you get to the front of the queue morons!

People who just let their kids run RAMPANT in public spaces. I'm not talking about parks and whatnot. I don't need your kids screaming at full volume or kicking the back of my chair. Thanks.
Folks at the cafe who take up the entire condiment counter while people wait behind them. Um, you can take your packet of sugar to your table rather than making everyone else wait while you dump your teaspoon of sweetner, stir, throw away the packet, lovingly replace the lid on your coffee, etc.
And yes, people who don't have their money ready drives me nuts, too.

YESSSSSSSSSS
I'm always fine with going around, but the ones that sway so you can't get around without being SUPER rude yourself and basically jogging passed them, risking bumping in to them... yeah. I hate that.
Also, everyone should understand personal space. PERSONAL. SPACE.
And the "stop in the middle of the doorway/aisle" thing so no one can get around... yeah. Way to not be considerate at all. ESPECIALLY when they don't even blink at the fact nor acknowledge that folks stopped, waited, and are now trying to edge around them.

This drives me nuts when I'm on my bike. I have a long ride people and I like to keep my pace up, I hate having to slow down almost to a complete stop to get around some jerk moseying up the middle of the path and listing to the right and left like they have no equilibrium.
Also not a fan of the slow checker outers. Speaking of... people who pay with checks. Seriously, does anyone even take checks anymore?

This drives me nuts when I'm on my bike.
It's hard not to get started on this. The only thing I can think of to stop me from going postal on people is that, technically, in most cities, a bike isn't supposed to be ridden on the sidewalk, anyway. So I give a little bit of leeway in my attitude since a lot of people don't realize a bike is coming up from behind them.
Still doesn't mean you shouldn't walk in a straight line, or you shouldn't take up the whole sidewalk with your friends crowding everyone else off.

My state happens to be one of the ones that allows bikes on the sidewalk.
Anyway, it's whatever. I have a bell that's supposed to let people know I'm coming but I feel like a jackass using it. Sometimes I shout ahead but I feel like a jerk then too. Mostly I just try to cough or make a lot of noise while peddaling and hope for the best.

I hate it when I hand my cash to an Asian or Indian cashier (always female) at a bodega and they snatch it out of my hand instead of taking it smoothly. There's a few bodegas I go to around here and an Asian or Indian male is working and they generously take my money from me, different story with the females.

I'm pretty used to people being completely oblivious to anyone and everything around them, but it still angers me. Maybe not as much as it used to though.
I'm starting to get concerned with how unaware people are about everything.
I was on the bus yesterday, a bus that typically travels along an east-west road, but briefly turns and goes south to a train station and turns around and goes right back to where it left off. Well, I was sitting in the back and heard a college-age girl say, "please sir, stop!" after pulling the cord for a stop because the bus started turning and didn't stop exactly where she thought it would. Fine, that's fine...but when the bus did stop, she and her mother (I'm guessing) took forever to gather their shopping bags and got to the back doors just as another person left through them. The mother stopped and sighed, apparently assuming it was too late to exit, even though the light on the door was still green and all she had to do was follow the simple and very large and clear instructions on the door.
It says, "touch here to open doors". it's bright yellow and even has little illustrated hands showing you exactly where to touch the door to open it.
Well, she didn't see that, and she and her daughter looked as if they were going to cry, but pulled the cord again for the next stop. At this point, other people needing to get off the bus gathered behind them. The bus stopped, and she looked at the door pleadingly, hoping to will it open, blocking everyone needing to get off. So I said, "PUSH IT", quite sternly.
So she pushed it and she and her daughter were able to exit unscathed.
I'm still upset by the whole thing though.

As part of my job I'm on the road driving close to 12 hours a day.
And just the fucking shit I see terrible drivers pull..... fuuuuck.
Just last night, I was driving down a major road doing 60 km/h (35 miles for you US people) and a car turned out from my right and swung out RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I jammed on the brakes, lucky I have ABS, and the guy proceeds to drive about 20 km/h. So I'm almost scraping his bumper at this point yelling WHAT THE FUUUUUUCK!!!! so I hit my horn and flashed my high beams just for a second, to let him know that it was a pretty shit move to make, and hes lucky the back of his car isn't written off, then HE gets all angry about it and I can see him flailing his arms about!! So I changed lanes to go past him, and as I go past I can see him yelling and cursing and spitting at me....
Ummmm what?? Fuckin hell.
Honestly the shit I see performed on the roads on a daily basis, I have been thinking about buying one of these... if I had the money. (http://www.ja-gps.com.au/RoadMemory/road-memory/)

Well, there's unfamiliarity, and then there's negligence. I'd have given them a break if the door instructions weren't so large and obvious. I can understand why they'd be confused that the bus was turning though.
Also, my neighborhood has had a major influx of people who I'm calling "college kids". It's not a tourist area (yet), so I'm guessing that girl just moved there and her mom was visiting and they were getting back from a shopping trip. There was a very "mommy, chicago is too hard :( " attitude coming from the girl.
The streets are just crawling with these college kids...they're loud and careless and enticing criminals with their disposable incomes and parent-paid rent.

i go back and forth on this one. on many occasions, i like to the leave the store with a sense of order and not in a chaotic hurry to get out of other people's way. and i think that as a patron of the store, you are entitled to a few seconds to put away the change, and besides, everyone behind you can spare another 15 seconds.
plus, if you take time to put it in the wallet, you can make sure you have the correct change.
and for those that think their cities is home to the worst drivers, you can't imagine the sort of things you can do in china: drive on sidewalks, park on sidewalks, run red lights, use the horn at all times, run down pedestrians, drive down the middle of the road, no blinkers, all with no seat belts.

I look at it to make sure it's correct, then move myself and my purchase out of the way to file the bills. That way they can at least start the next transaction while I'm making sure all the bills face the same direction, etc.

Another thing with phones: When people are hanging out with others but paying attention mainly to their phone. To me, it's insulting. My confession here is that I held up many games of pool when I first got my phone, so much so that "pull a (abcdefz)" became a catchphrase for being captivated by your phone when it was your turn to shoot. :o
