i remember the beasties were getting interviewed, LTI era, and the reporter mentioned that he had trouble concentrating because ad-rock had a boom box, blasting the norweigan wood....that's when i knew they were a one of a kind hipp hop group....what rappers would ever do that?! sick

Love that!!! They are one of a kind. Nobody has been like them since.

I have a fond memory of them playing in Houston during Sabotage era. Was young and in high school so a family friend's daughter took me and I remember the BB's hit the stage a little early than expected and some of us were in the refreshment lines. Everybody literally took off leaving food, drinks, things were flying around in the air and folks were getting trampled as they ran to the stage. It was a stellar moment and I survived. (y)
