I'm outside waiting for a store to open, and one of those 7-11 taquito things is on the ground.

NO ANTS ARE APPROACHING THIS THING

(at least it looks like 7-11)

hmmmmm

are you going to get a slurpee?...I could really use a slurpee right now...all readers please state their proximity to a 7-11 location, regardless of international locale,please...I'd say I'm about 700 meters away...I would like a swamp mix slurpee and some ranch flavored corn nuts,thanks...

I think my closest 7-11 is about three blocks away, maybe four.

But seriously. A taquito.

Grease, meat, cheese, corn tortilla shell (I guess)... what's an ant not to love?

Unless.... hmmmm....

I dunno. Ants eat their own.

Maybe it was just a very convincing chew toy.

It's likely the ants are holding out for a random nacho "cheese" spill...

The chili sauce! I didn't even think of that.

Such polite, patient ants.

I was just thinking about my teens when we actually used to eat those 99 cent burgers in the wee hours, under various influences...the catch was how many pickles and onions you could stuff on them (thrifty value added!) without the cashier giving ya grief or the grief your belly gave you the next morning...that's honestly the only "food" I ever ate from the sev...

oh, the golden slurpee days....

i can't even imagine how much insulin i would need to shoot up to have one of those. i used to get them all of the time in the summer on my way home from the pool. orange was always my favorite.

What? Taquitos aren't real food? I'll eat them anyway
