I'm certainly seeing some odd things today.
Can he just tell by how the tongs grip things what kind of salad he's building? What about the dressing? Does ranch weigh more than 1000 island?

I was at Disney World and after entering the park saw a sign that said "Braile maps here"....now how's the blind guy going to read that?

maybe he has to stick his finger into each one and taste it first.
you better hope he finds what he wants fast!
He can smell the various pungent leafy aromas and hear the rustle of pine nuts and croutons as he dips the tongs where the bar gives way. In many ways, the blind make salads with a more expert touch than any sighted individual. They can feel the olfactory presence of the various greens and spices through an almost synaesthesiatic vision of the perfect salad; that perfect salad form of which all other salads are merely a shade.

I know of a couple of blind dudes that play the poker (slot) machines. They get the attendant to walk them upto a machine, get their change for them etc.
Then they just press the buttons until they are out of money. I dont see (ha!) the point.
Also on ATMs the keypads have braille on them, but whats the point when you cant read the screen?
