ah valvano always concerned about the important things in life - ya know I would bet everything I own that any wealthy person (including the leaders you support) have received generous tax breaks and more than likely found or were led to loopholes and dodged taxes themselves. I bet John Kerry's opponents would have no problem with what he did, except when it comes to making an impression for their voters.

you'd be a dumb ass not to know that.

unbeknownst to you, we are all in the same boat - it is the fat cats may they be on my side or your side who are perpetuating this tax bullshit.

By the way, how have tax breaks helped our economy?

Looks like they have contributed to this mess.

What is a "tax break" anyway? The IRS code is so convoluted and absurdly compicated that who really know what the fuck is going on. A provision that allows a tax break for one person can also involve a tax increase for another. There is no shame or embarrasment in paying the very least amount of taxes you can according to the law regardless of your net worth. You're a blathering dolt if you don't. The richer you are, the harder you work at lowering your taxes....that's just common sense. If you want to close the loopholes and eliminate the tax breaks for rich people then vote for the Fair Tax.... otherwise the discriminatory sliding tax scale only encourages the behavior you despise.

Besides if you have a $7M sailboat in New England...Newport Shipyard is where you want to keep it...period. Like John and Theresa couldn't afford $500k if they felt it would be more conveninet to have it in Boston...please.

Kaiser, I'd love to hear your take on how tax breaks have hurt the economy.
