just bought my UK 2 disc ricky powell rappin with the rickster dvd off play.com £9.99.
hmv £10.99.
I'm very pleased because I did'nt think this would get a UK release,I only heard about it off mic to mic blog(again).
check play.com and mic to mic blog for all the beastie boys information I think theres about four different interviews.from 1990 to 1994.

Seriously? I've got my VHS from way back (signed by the Rickster even) and some full episodes on VHS bootleg but I'd love to peep the DVDs. Thanks for the news.

got mine in the mail today. haven't watched it yet, but the line-up of interviews is diverse and the packaging is beautiful! there's a clear plastic slip case that has Ricky's signature in a dark yellow across his slightly green BW photo on the back that is gorgeous!

There is also a DVD set of almost every single interview and live performance the BB's have done on MTV and other shows. I own it, it's pretty amazing! I'll have to check out the Ricky one too though! (y)

Isn't that a privately made bootlegy type stuff? I got in on eBay several years ago. It's really worth the pretty penny!

I say it is totally worth it if you are obsessed like me. The quality is really good. The 80's ones are old but picture and volume are great and all of the stuff from the early 90's and so on are perfect sound and picture quality. Loads of rare interviews not seen on you-tube. Night Watch with the BB's and Run DMC is a good one I hadn't seen anywhere else.

Also tons of rare performances and even any snippet of news that mentioned them on MTV over the past 20 years is compacted on this collection. It's nine hours of the Beastie Boys. Good thing to have around for a fix especially with the guys on hiatus right now. I just fucking love it!!! Link is below to the site if anybody is interested. I live in Houston and it plays well on my standard old DVD player so region is compatible for America.

Just watched the DVD last night. It is awesome.
At several points, there is footage of the beasties in the studio in 94, with Hurricane, and they have this really funky instrumental playing, while Mike D is playing with the MPC. Anyone has ever heard that before, or know anything about it ?
