Microsoft outlook: back in my first sales job in 96 I was taught to use Microsoft outlook to manage my contacts, set appointment and reminders, use the calendar and send/receive emails. I thought this was the shit. As I grew in my field I praised outlook as the must have tool and tried other products but felt nothing came close, plus all my phones and PDAs all had the ability to sync with outlook.
2 months ago I thought of giving up outlook for my email manager and went to Google. Then I used Google calendar. Now I wonder why I ever used outlook. My contact/Calendar/email have never been easier to manage and anywhere I have internet I can view/edit my calendar/contacts/email. Work, Home on the road I have it all without syncing my phone or computer with a cable.
Not to mention My new droid X and Google together are sweet…………
I am sure must of you young ones never even used outlook, but if you are still using Outlook, think twice.

Yeah whatever granddad - we already know :p

Yeah, although google are probably stealing your data along with using your phones GPS to know where you go everyday and for how long to get pretty detailed profile - google do make some nice apps that just sync, work and are compatible with non-google programs. I wouldn't do without my andriod now, only had it a year and its just something that works and is so freaking handy.

w00t - future!

I hate where the whole MS Office suite is going - horrible interface indeed, you'd think they would have learned by now

I use Open Office and Thunderbird for email and I have no complaints yet.
