travesty

MSNBC tried to bury this (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38585611/ns/politics/) in the back pages but Chrsitine Romer has resigned as Obama's top economic advisor. Even rats flee a sinking ship. The facts aren't out but I can only assume she was tired of lying to the public that the economy is getting better and the administration's efforts are working. I'm sure it had nothing to do with this month's jobless claims numbers(the highest since April). Maybe she just had a hard time remembering the dynamic and imaginary number of "jobs created or saved" dreamed up each month. It seems that some people in the administration still have enough integrity to quit.
