When I moved into my house last October, we switched internet providers. In our apartment, we had Comcast and everything was cool. Playing wii online, downloading music, and playing Spades on Yahoo. It's approaching a year, so it doesn't bother me that bad, but since we moved and switched our service to Verizon, I can't do any of those. I call tech support and those people are idiots.

Help!!!??

i think it's a problem with your NAT. you want your NAT to be open and it sounds like it's something else

that's literally all the advice i can offer but i swear to you it sounds like a NAT problem, maybe someone else can elaborate or you can use that as a jumping off point for google and that'll tell you more. all i know is that my p2p programs suggest i have NAT issues and that i can't use the matchmaking service for modern warfare 2 because my NAT isn't open enough.

google NAT

Yeah, the two things above are pretty much the same thing.

Did you change router to? If you did and you still have the old router - switch them around as it might have the old settings and if it works then you probably need to open ports on the new one. Or just use your old one.

Each console and sometimes games have different ports, its basically a security device that stops letting unauthorised devices talk to each other. If you let them talk to each other, then they normally get along.
