They just evcuated the library

...and fire trucks are coming. That's the first time I've been in there for one of these. I'd never noticed how many strobes are on each floor.

Nine floors counting the basement. I'm betting this is going to take a while. Hopefully they got any disabled people down the steps all right. I only saw one older lady really struggling, and it was just a few feet from the ground floor door, and she had someone taking care of her.

Hmm... now there was a different sort of siren. Lower-pitched and more burbling-sounding. A few people appplauded.

Flames are licking all around me.

Naw, I'm outside on my laptop. The campus has wi-fi.

One of the students walking by was grumbling that this happens every finals week. I'm assuming that must mean the end of the summer seession? I thought school was just about to start.

Must be okay. They're letting the staff back in, so presumably the rest of us once the staff is back in place.
