So, looks like tomorrow is going to be the big day. As I am pregnant and our little missy didn't want to turn her head down, I am getting a cesarean tomorrow morning 11 a.m. It's kind of strange to know nearly exactly when you will get your baby. On the pro side: I had time for a new haircut today and get everything ready at home and in my job. On the con-side: I get my belly cut up and the whole how-to-get-a-baby-story is not so surprising, more like an appointment you have.

So, when I get back from hospital on monday or tuesday I want this thread to display all the good-luck-wishes of you guys :)

Okay, I admit I am getting very nervous as there's only 11 hours to go. So I have to distract myself by starting this thread...

Thanks everybody for all your wishes. As I think most of the mentioned names would be a little odd for a girl, we decided to call our little girl Ida. :D

The little girl is so sweet and came out vey well. The c-section was worse than I thought though. As I got only a partial anesthesia, which is common for a planned c-section anyway, some of the stuff they did in my belly hurt very badly. so they had to give me more morphine to make it bearable. But my husband was with me, which was a great relief, and only 10 minutes after they cut my belly up Little-Ida was out sneezing 2 times and then turning to sleep instantly again. when my husband brought her back to me after the first examination she was snoring a little and looked so beautiful.

I am the happiest mum alive. Now I have to go feed her as she seems to wake up this moment now. :)

The baby-girl is doing very well although her stomach hurts a lot. But she's gainig weight and and most of the time she is a happy little girl.

Hooray hooray! Enjoy these early days, they are so special. A few years from now in some ways they will be hard to remember (the sleep deprivation and all that) but in other ways clear as daylight. Everything ist fine, thanks. The scar looks good already and I already lost 9 of 12 kg after the birth of little Ida. I just wish I could get a little more sleep...

Oh, congratulations to you too. How old is your child then? Little Ida has her first-month-birthday on sunday. So, not too much younger :)
