I know they're at least playing here soon(ish). I wonder what it will be like. Sick Sick Sick was ok the first 10 times but Era Vulgaris as an album kinda blew. This new album is coming out independently so I spose we'll see if that has a bearing on the quality. Or not. Hopefully J-Ho just smashes out some good shit.

What are your favourite QOTSA songs? I have many, but have been giving Regular John (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf6qnX4rmDU) regular spins of late.

yeah, last two albums have been pretty mediocre.

favourite tracks? Leg of Lamb, The Bronze, How to Handle a Rope...most of the stuff off the first three albums is pretty untouchable.

Yup. I mean we all know we like them and shit, I just thought it would be good to ask about favourite tracks since it's been at least a year since we discussed em. :)

I am a big Auto-pilot fan.

Rated R and Lullabies to Paralyze are my fave albums. I Never Came and Precious and Grace are a couple of my fave tunes. They just released a revamped Rated R.

Seen them live last night. Oh Em Gee, amazing as always.
Favourite song is Song For The Deaf, by far. That drum intro and that riff...WOAH!

Closely followed by Mosquito Song, Better Living Through Chemistry, I think I lost My Headache (which they play yesterday! <3333) and Born To Hula. (If you don't know that one, check it owt! Also an awesome drum intro....)

Haven't heard anything about a new album but am massively looking forward to it. Lullabies and Era Vulgaris arn't my fave albums of theirs, but they still kick the asses of most rock bands out there atm.

Yeah man probably. Just to Queens and Slash I guess. It's not so much that I hate festivals, the one issue about keeping people out of my life is that I never have anyone to go with.

What songs did they play? Era Vulgaris line-up?

Lullabies is surprisingly enjoyable these days. Skin on Skin is quite good.

Oh and thanks for pointing out Born to Hula, I passed it on to a friend. We're starting a band and looking for stuff to steal ideas from.

Ehm, lemme check...

Feel Good Hit Of The Summer
Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret
Monsters In The Parasol
3,s & 7's
Sick, Sick, Sick
Misfit Love
Burn The Witch
Little Sister
I Think I Lost My Headache
Go With The Flow
No One Knows
A Song For The Dead

They ended waaay too soon. The crowd kept calling out for more and when the announcer guy came onstage and told us there really wasn't going to be any more, the crowd gave him the loudest booing I've ever heard.

PS: Just wanted to say I made an error in my last post and that my fave song is Song For The DEAD not DEAF. (Though that one's awesome too).
