I grew up in a town that had a place called Jess' Quick Lunch. They had awesome chili dogs. The owner would only put mustard on the tables. I once heard a man ask for ketchup and the owner said....only retards and Texans put ketchup on a Hot Dog. I will always remember that moment. I was sitting at the lunch counter/bar with my Dad and I was 8.
I don't eat many Hot Dogs but I do take my son to a place that has good chili dogs. If I grill I use Nathan's hot dogs and make some chili.
