Yeah, I'm not sure this is worth making any kind of a big deal about. Stupid thing to say? Maybe. I guess for me it's like, is this a phrase that Sanchez uses kind of naturally, like, in a variety of circumstances? (As something more innocuous than a swear? Because you can't say 'goddamn' or 'muthafuckin' on a news program? Like that?) I dunno.

Certainly an expression used quite frequently down here, especially with the religious types who won't swear. Personally I think it's better than "gall darned". People are too cotton picking sensitive these days. When are they going to lighten up gall darn it?

I can definitely get you some of those as well as some "might could", "Used ta could" and "boodaggie's". It took me about a year and half to understand what most people down here were saying. The best was my friend from NY telling a local "don't you watch TV and wonder what that strange language everyone is speaking?"
