Mr Beatnick began his foray into beat culture at age 16, armed only with an Amiga 500 and a cassette tape of Run DMC. 20 years later, he’s now in the midst of a renaissance in experimental instrumental hiphop, spearheaded by peers like Paul White and Bullion.

He’s best known for his work with spiritual mentor ahu, his remixes of Marvin Gaye, Azymuth, and Diamond D, and his website www.shhhhh.co.uk. His new material is slated to come out on the Don’t Be Afraid label run by Semtek.
