Kanye's new album is going to be amazing

If you've heard "Power" and been keeping up with his weekly "Good Friday" drops, you'll know that Kanye is back to his soulful best, both production-wise and lyrically. I have to admit I wrote him off a few years ago around the time of Love Lockdown and the autotune shit, and although Graduation was a good album it wasn't hip-hop and a large part of me thought Kanye would never bring any quality again. The couple of singles since Power (Erase Me grew on me, See Me Now isn't amazing but not a bad song by any means) and these Good Friday drops have pretty much put that thought to bed.

Hence why he's so concerned with staying true to the 5 elements and the music, and doesn't have time for all these new artists (well, the last decade or so) who are making dance, R&B, etc and selling it under the banner of hip-hop.

Bottom line is, you don't have to agree but you still have to respect the man. He pretty much IS hip-hop.
