I wish I could post a link- I'm not sure if anyone can help me here?

There's an IC era recording from a big US talk show (I'm reasonably sure it's Letterman, but I may be wrong) where they performed 2 or 3 tracks, one of which was Tough Guy if I remember rightly, before going on to do either Sure Shot or So Watcha Want I think? They might have started off with one of the funk instrumental numbers too but I can't be sure? They do the whole instrument/microphone switch up thing and knock out the tracks pretty quick from what I remember?

Sorry to be so vague, I've only seen this clip once or twice and it's been quite a long time - I think it's quite a rare clip 'cause I have tried searching for it at some point (although I never managed to get on the Hub properly) without success.

Any help would be appreciated - it's a great clip that always encapsulated what the 'boys were doing at one the creative peaks of their career for me, and it would be good for people that haven't seen it before to witness.

The Root Down one you posted is awesome!! (y) But yeah I usually find a lot of cool rare stuff that either you-tube hadn't posted or can't post. See you-tube is so popular that these days a lot of stuff can't be put on their site because of copyrights and that sorta BS... So the smaller lesser known video sites will have loads of gems hidden in them. :D

Thanks a lot for links those Jo - very cool footage but I don't think either of them are the specific one that I've got in mind? - The 2nd one is pretty close though - I'm pretty sure Mike is wearing the visor in the clip I'm thinking of but it's a bit more simple? It may be a Heart Attack Man performance and might have AWOL involved, and is real tight and energetic like the 2nd one......

Hmmm okay those aren't the ones, plus you said it might have AWOL involved and I can't think of any on a "show" right now that has that. I am sure it's out there though! It sound pretty bad ass, and well if I hadn't seen it then i want to lol. I'll definitely hunt around some more and see if I can help locate it. ;)
