Besides blocking all Dem legistlation which seems to have been their policy for two years, they plan on having the Dems vote for their agenda. And they are right, they probably will.

Typical stuff. Limiting liability lawsuits. "Sorry, you losing your arm due to negligence is only worth $100,000 regardless of your situation or the senario in which it happened. No, a judge and jury of your peers isn't qualified, smart enough, or local enough to fine what may be appropriate."

The agenda would keep some more popular elements of Mr. Obama's plan, such as making it illegal for insurers to deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions and eliminating lifetime spending caps. Well, comapsionate conservatives!

Etc...

Is this the Same as Pledge for America?

If so check out Brian Wild, one of the characters working on it

GOP 'Pledge For America' Director Lobbied For AIG, Exxon, Pfizer, Chamber

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/09/22/pledge-for-america-brian-wild-lobbyist_n_735911.html

Until early this year, Wild was a fairly active lobbyist on behalf of the firm the Nickles Group, the lobbying shop set up by the former Republican Senator from Oklahoma, Don Nickles. During his five years at the firm, Wild, among others, was paid $740,000 in lobbying contracts from AIG, the former insurance company at the heart of the financial collapse; $800,000 from energy giant Andarko Petroleum; more than $1.1 million from Comcast, more than $1.3 million from Exxon Mobil; and $625,000 from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc.

But the career door has been revolving. And in between his time in Johnson and Toomey's office, Wild served as a lobbyist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where he helped steer more than $34 million worth of lobbying activity for the business interest group.

I'm sure this vulvano isn't concerned with this. :(

The ad says that by proclaiming support for small business initiatives, but then summarily voting against a the bill, "The GOP broke their 'Pledge to America' within hours of making it."

39 days to the election. The GOP and Tea Partiers have HUGE momentum right now. Anyone else see them stepping on their dicks and blowing it within the next 4 weeks? I do. It should be amusing.
