I love the stories told in Paul Revere and High plains drifter:D
The Negotiation limerick file is another one I like the lyrics to, nee particular reason why. They just seem to click with me.
An open letter to NY is another favourite and Fight for your right just for the comedy value of it

All of the stuff on Paul's Boutique is legendary. I'd say Car thief and High Plains Drifter for my top two.

OH God Sabotage, just the message alone was so powerful! Pass the Mic I just LOVE though, it's like top fave lyrically. I've often used the lyrics as motivation in my own life when others piss me off lol.
Might be more. but those two come to mind right off the bat!!!!

I agree with Pass The Mic and High Plains Drifter, two excellent choices. Triple Trouble and Skills to Pay the Bills are also some of my favorites lyrically but I think my top choice is probably Putting Shame In Your Game. Excellent thread (y)

"Lay It On Me"
for those of you who can't recognize...
Yo, I've got Chinese eyes and Chinese suits
Smokin' much Buddha and smokin' much boots ("Lay it on me now")
More updated on the hip-hop lingo ("Not so hard, man")
My favorite New York Knick was Hawthorne Wingo
Met a girl at a party and I gave her my card
Man, you know that it said Napoleon Bonaparte ("Lay it on me now")
Peepin' out the colors, I be buggin' on Cezanne
They call me Mike D, Joe Blow, the lover man
Well, your face turns red as your glass of wine
That you spilled on my lyrics as you wasted my time ("Lay it on me now")
Girl, you should be with me, you should drop that bum
'Cause I got more flavor than Fruit Striped Gum
With that big round butt of yours
I'd like to butter your muffin, I'm not bluffing
Serve you on a platter like Thanksgiving stuffing
"And what it"
Stuffing, stuffing
Stuffing, buddy

Hands down my favorite is Root Down.
But Stand Together always does it for me..
"I don't see things quite the same as I used to
As I live my life I've got just me to be true to
And when I find that I don't know about just what to do
I turn and look within to see what I should do
Now I'm not sure what it takes to be hip
A lot of people making music that to me ain't shit
So I ask creation for rhymes for this jam
Gimme a little solo and I'll take the mic stand"

I really like Finger Lickin Good but seeing as Ad Rock isnt on that, i will say Intergalactic
good question, but different ways to interpret.
Song For The Man came up straight away in my mind for the message but lyrically its not the best...
hmmmms, I've changed my mind a lot. I'm gonna have a think
