Phone call from prison...

Well I guess there’s always new firsts as life goes on…this morning I got a call from an associate who’s 3 months into a 3 year sentence and has just been transferred to a federal penitentiary...never spoken to anyone incarcerated other than clients calling from the city remand center…I just didn’t know what the hell to say…every thing I did bring up just seemed to add to his depression…very intense and awkward…the only thing that seemed to bring a measure of solace is when I promised to give his wife a call and see how’s she managing with the kids and all…what to say?...I don’t know…I really don’t…do you?

ummmmm...nope...but he's still under a 90 day assesment period during which all visits happen between a plexi glass pane...did say he misses sushi really badly...but I don't think that would keep very well up ones bum...Ever see ”The 25th Hour” (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0307901/)?...if life was a movie that pretty much covers his story...on the bright side he say's theres mashed potatoes with every meal,including breakfast...
