Good idea. Might make the front page too crowded; loving the minimalism. You can make comments on their official Facebook page where the same posts/links appear. So far the comments over there have not been on the topic, so it might be nice if some board members beefed it up.

this is gonna go the way of the blogs before, there will be no posts after the initial spurt and no one will visit it anymore.. i think the comments thing would get people going there...

BETTER YET:
make that blog page another forum on the message board and only let bb's create threads. ALSO, ALLOW VIDEO POSTS THERE.

I totally agree. I keep thinking I can comment every time they make a new post and then I am reminded NO. So yeah it will definitely drive more folks to the site and make it more interactive all round. (y)
