She's mean, but let's see what happens!:D
I thought she was one of the good guys?
Bits I've read over here in the UK papers are generally pleased with her appointment.
Edit: I should declare I know nothing of Brasil politics.

i bet she voted for obamacare
between 2003 and 2009, 29 million brazilians entered the middle class, with the number of brazilians living below the poverty line dropping from 34% to 22.6%, in the midst of a booming economy (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-11414276). socialism

Well, Lula was the most popular President in Brazil, but although they belong to the same parties, it doesn't seem she'll follow him. She has different opinions about certain issues and a very hateful person from what I've heard. I knew a girl whose's mom worked with her and it was bad. Pretty bad. She's evil. She caused lot of problems when Brazil was governed by the military.
I don't know. People voted for her because the other guy, Serra, seems even worst. So...
^ yeah, she opposed the military dictatorship, and was imprisoned and tortured.
