Liam Howlett, is in my opinion, a fucking genius. i don't think the Release Yo Delf remix will never be topped, but this is tidy. I like how he's not fucked with it too much, tweaked a little and for me improved an overrated tune (!).

He should make beats for hip hop artists, Poison is one of the best beats.

fairly sure its how he got into making beats in first place but then discovered raves and e.

I like the fact he can do a few styles. The dirtchamber sessions is about as close as he's going to get imo. Its a bit like girl talk now i think about it.

Could you not fit 'and it fucking sucks' in the title field?

i was going to offer my opinion in the OP but decided not to influence anyone instead.

I liked it.

i like how he hasnt messed with it too much but still has the prodigy stamp but i can see how that would be interpreted as a lazy mix. I dont think that was the case.

Like Howlett, the The Prodigy, and even the original song its self - dated late 90s big beat bollocks. Very little in the way of improvment.

I know "The Prodigy" and the Beastie Boys have had their issues in the past. (has this ever been resolved??) but The Dirtchamber Sessions Volume One (http://www.amazon.com/Dirtchamber-Sessions-1-Prodigy/dp/B00000I9UN/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1290576799&sr=8-1) was f-ing bad ass!! Not being a big Prodigy fan, I will say, I never knew he had it in him.... Brilliant, fun, and I've rocked it in the car 3 or 4 times over the last couple months. Good stuff. Awaiting Vol. 2.

it's alright...kind of boring. Don't see any reason to listen to this over the original.

yeah, a dirtchamber vol.2 would be immense.

i dont think it'd sound anything like the first one. He did that a long time ago and to be honest there wasnt much about like it but there's shitloads now. I think he should leave it and try and concentrate on the prodge. Lets face it, last album was pretty good but there was a lot of rehashing going on.

what can the prodigy really do now though? you can't touch their 90's. output...i mean 'big beat bollocks' is beyond fucking ignorant. jilted generation is one of the best albums of that decade...i can't see beyond the odd solid album which will, as you say, be guilty of rehashing. i just can't see anything else particularly innovative or even unique coming from them. still a live force, mind.

i wouldn't want a DC vol.2 to be the same, but i think he'd have more chance creating something 'fresh' with mixing than a new prodigy album. i hope the man proves me wrong!
