In just two weeks, 5000 really quiet new members. Looks like there will be 80,000 members by Sunday night. Each time I log on I see at least 3 people registering, but usually it's 6 to 10.

It is funny that there has always been two groups to this forum, the general and free. I'm not sure which you graduate to tho. Yeah, I hardly check there as some of them seem a little too obsessive :D

looks like the board got cleaned up. The invasion of Hot Bot committee II is subsided.

a forum I am admin on we get 100s of bot requests per day. Kinda a pain filtering them but then vBulletin (ie this board) is much better software than what we use so they should get less. Anyway, they don't count towards the forum total members count. Some of the bots may of got through but I see no evidence of it as as soon as they register they spam post every forum and its a manual removing them.

Its very probable that there has been 5k of members join in the last fortnight.
