This (http://www.amazon.com/Last-American-Man-Elizabeth-Gilbert/dp/0670030864) is a better book by the same author.

haha, I thought so all along ;)

I read it a couple of years ago. Didn't finish it--I got bored by the last part, but quite enjoyed it, on the whole. Can't remember whether I was embarrassed to read it in public. The promo-quotes made me vomit tho: "It's what I'm giving all my girlfriends" Julia Roberts / Mini Driver.

Will look into that Miss Heiress. :)
