I don't usually post links to videos which might be considered "cute" but had to mention this one, plus being in a choir myself in high school helped a little. :D

Christmas Food Court Flash Mob, Hallelujah Chorus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXh7JR9oKVE) - a professionally shot 720 HD video - with almost 17 million views so far since last month - done w/hidden cameras.

Awesome!! My eyeballs got a little moist watching that!*

Excerpt from the Toronto Sun newspaper article (http://www.torontosun.com/news/canada/2010/11/29/16368791.html):

LONDON - The mall's food court is packed with fast-food shoppers.

A pianist in one corner plays some generic Christmas songs.

Then a young woman in a red scarf, her cellphone to her ear, rises from her chair and starts to belt out the "Hallelujah Chorus" of Handel's Messiah.

Her pure, powerful soprano voice carries across the crowd and halts diners in mid-bite.

Other "shoppers" leap to their feet or converge from the halls for a full-on, spine-tingling chorus - a flashmob performance that's generated more than 3.1 million YouTube views just 10 days since it was posted.

The woman in the red scarf is soprano Stephanie Tritchew, 22, a student at the University of Western Ontario's Don Wright Faculty of Music.

She's as surprised as anyone that the video has made her a minor star, along with the 100-member Chorus Niagara who sing with her............No Autotuning software or other studio trickery here folks - these are people who can truly SING.

* if anyone has never heard a large choir in person, please do yourself a favor and go hear one in action at least once. The power of all those unified human voices is just stunning and can almost be emotionally overwhelming (in a good way!). No earbuds, computer speakers or a megabuck audio system can recreate that experience.

I'm a total atheist, but I used to like going to the church on a Sunday when I went through basic training just so I could sing the hymns. I have a good baritone voice.

Glad y'all enjoyed it - I figured these days, with all the sobering events happening around us, it would be nice to see something that is just.....nice.

Silence & Helvete: I do kind of wish the music had been of a non-religious nature so more people could enjoy the event (or at least enjoy it more), because I think the singing itself would still be a great thing to experience even if the lyrics were discussing the best brownie recipes! :D
