If the holidays weren't enough being a teacher, the perks of teaching in a private school have extended their involved hand of benevolence and the hand is sending me on a 28 day expedition to Bolivia and Peru in July of next year for no cost to me.

Any experiences of these countries? We're doing the (probably fairly ubiquitous) Machu Piccu, Ballesteros Islands, Lake Titicaca etc. For some reason the chance to see and smell the Pacific Ocean seems to touch a poetic nerve in my soul. The worry of being in charge of a group of twelve sixteen-year-olds is an overwhelming feeling but hopefully that will be superceded by the excitement of foreign lands.

You still have your marking tho! Teachers used to always give that excuse when trying to defend their holidays :p

That is a pretty sweet deal - I know nothing of those countries just wanted to say grats on the free holiday as well as make a sarcastic comment :)

My friends have been there.

It's great according to them.

But watch out with the fake money they give to foreigners.:D

Hopefully, I'll go there someday soon.:p

at the border my friend had to bribe Bolivian police with 100$ to get her passport back.
